3788 Scale Federation Priority Transport, One Pod

A strategic transport variant of the Burke-Class Frigate, ships of this class were designed to move special mission pods around behind the front lines to position them as needed for tugs and Light Tactical Transports. The frigates were classed as theater transports, and could not use the systems on the pods. These ships were also used as high-speed priority transports (when not carrying a pod), delivering key personnel or supplies to critical points at the front. Some were used as “carrier resupply ships” to bring replacement fighters and drones forward to carriers. As shown here, the Priority Transport has one pod. Known names include 0381 Wells Fargo, 0382 Pony Express, and 0384 Flying Cloud. 

This ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
