About
Coming from a background that includes a BFA in sculpture, Diamond Graduate certification from the Gemological Institute of America, mechanical drafting for engineering firms and 3D modeling experience, I focus on creating wearable jewelry pieces that showcase clean design. Having worked with models and jewelry in all stages of production from conception to prototype and finished prooduct, I try to create jewelry that will stand the test of time and enhance one's life from one season to the next. Having worked for engineering firms, I am concerned with such things as durability, whether the jewelry will be comfortable to wear, value and whether the design will function correctly such as if a closure will actually keep a necklace or bracelet fastened. Each piece I design goes through a design process that sometimes includes hundreds of revisions to be sure the design is satisfactory. I also do extensive research into jewelry design from all periods of history.
