womens-history-month

In celebrating Women’s History Month and the extraordinary women who have played critical roles in American history, we would also like to take that recognition one step further in shining a light on the women who have been so instrumental in the success of Shapeways. We have the pleasure of working with and learning from these authentic individuals and visionaries who continue to be fearless not only in setting goals in the world of additive manufacturing and achieving them, but also in empowering their team members along the way.

“Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us.”

– Wilma Rudolph [the first American woman to win three gold medals in track and field at the same Olympic games in 1960, also achieving three world records.]

We are proud to highlight the incredible women of Shapeways during Women’s History Month, recognizing those who continue to be fearless not only in setting goals in the world of additive manufacturing and achieving them—but also in empowering their team members along the way. Stay tuned, and happy Women’s History Month!

“I came to Shapeways because of the additive manufacturing focus. I know that AM is the future in manufacturing and I want to be a part of its history.”

– Roni McGregory (She/Her), Business Development Director

“When I think about working at Shapeways, the word ‘evolved’ always comes to mind. It is definitely true that you are able to grow creatively–and immensely so–when you are working from a safe space that emphasizes equality, positivity, and authenticity.”

– Bridget Millsaps (She/Her), Senior Copywriter and Editor

“I think the most exciting aspect of AM is that we haven’t begun to scratch the surface of what we can do. We’re seeing industry pioneers use the technology for everything from fashion design, healthcare, home construction even food; the only limit is our imaginations and the time it takes for the tech to catch up with it.”

– Ara Bogmis, Project Manager – Strategic Initiatives
