Product Description

A solid reinforcement piece designed to replace a damaged Lego Train bogie pivot.

I haven't printed one for testing yet, but there's two ways this reinforcement could be installed.

1. You could either drill out the damaged pivot piece to 6.5mm and simply press this into place, by rights it should clutch to the original piece.

2. Drill out the damaged pivot piece to 6.5mm. Drill out the four studs around the pivot to 2.5mm from underneath, and VERY gently drill the studs down from the top to 5mm until they're flush with the top surface of the plate. Tap the four holes in the reinforcement to M2.5, and use M2.5 cap screws to tie the reinforcement in. The heads of M2.5 cap screws are generally 2mm deep and 4.5mm in diameter, just like regular studs, so they shouldn't look so out of place.
