Product Description
This is an N scale kit for an EMD DD35. The kit includes the main body shell, fuel tank and 3D printed railings.
This kit is designed to fit over a modified 3rd generation Bachmann DDA40X chassis.
The body shell is the correct length, the DDA40X chassis will require shortening by 24mm (0.945”).
Detailed instructions with photos on how to do this are avalable on my blog site.
This kit is only printable in the FUD & FXD materials and will require cleaning before painting. I recommend washing with warm soapy water then soaking in 'Goo Gone' or similar product for about 24 hours. Then rinsing off with warm water and allowing to dry.
The kit requires a modified 3rd generation Bachmann DDA40X chassis which is not included.
Brass handrails are available for this model; please contact James though the Blog/website below if you would like an EMD DD35 brass etched Additions set.
Please note it will not fit on a 1st or 2nd generation Bachmann DDA40X chassis.
