The Baerr Neuron Truck, has been around for over a century, first appearing in 2238. The Neuron is a very simple and straightforward design, easy to maintain and easy to modify. While its performance in unremarkable, the low price tag makes it the most cost-effective truck in it 8-ton weight class. A further advantage is that, rather than have a built-in cargo bed, it has a rear module. This allows it to be changed to accommodate different functions or types of cargo (or other roles) as simply as changing the module.

Various new models have been produced over the years, but they differ only in small ways. Baerr also produce smaller 4x4 versions and an 8x8 wheeler, which can carry up to twenty tons, but neither of these is quite as popular.

The Tarrainian Federation Army uses a militarised Neuron truck as it standard truck. The chassis is used as the basis for several support vehicles, including the command vehicle and as an MLRS system. The militarised version has a slightly thicker skin than a commercial truck and is equipped with smoke dischargers.
