Style: This polyhedral design is part of the Archimedean Wireframe series, with a geometric, precise aesthetic that easily distinguishes different types of faces. Each of the thirteen polyhedra in the series are scaled so that they have similar edge-to-surface area ratios, so they look great in groups or as a full set.

Mathematics: The Rhombicosidodecahedron is one of the thirteen Archimedean solids. It has 62 faces of three different types: 3-sided, 4-sided, and 5-sided, and all 60 of its vertices have the same degree-four configuration. Its dual polyhedron, the Deltoidal Hexecontahedron, turns things inside-out with 62 vertices of three different types (degree 3, 4, and 5), and 60 identical four-sided faces.
