Product Description
This is a top mount for your spare tire. The mount attaches to the top cage of a Traxxas TRX-4. The mount can utilize the stock M4 Nyloc nut. The new mount is slightly taller offset than the factory rear mount to accommodate wider tires and wheels. The mount can be used in the front or rear of the upper rack. Please refer to pictures for locations. This mount can be securely fastened with the use of zip ties.
A M4 X 40mm or a M4 x 12mm socket head cap screw is required for mounting. The 40mm screw mounts through the entire mount from the bottom, and the 12mm screw mounts through the wheel and into the mount. (The 40mm screw is preferred mounting method.) The inner diameter through hole is sized to thread a M4 screw / bolt. This is by design to aid in mounting and demounting of the spare tire.
