Product Description

Hello everyone!

I am developing a complete modified set of parts for the DeAgostini Millennium Falcon - namely the ramp area. I have created a hinge for the ramp, which is a one piece, low profile design that is an optional replacement for the undesireable stock metal hinge assembly, which is bulky and huge.

LrdSatyr8 and I have been working together to make this concept a reality, and everything is now coming together quite well.

This part is for expert and pro modelers, as modifications will be required. The four screw standoffs on the ramp, and the four screw standoffs for the hinge on the hull plating need to be cut off flush, and the leftover areas on both parts need to be sanded flush for this part to fit properly.

I have labeled each side of the hinge for indication, and the lettering faces down when the part is glued in place. The ramp and hull plating should be put together to perform this operation.

Future additional parts for the ramp are soon to follow. This includes a longer ramp motor arm/ piston, a custom mechanical linkage set to open and close the ramp, a new ramp motor bracket which seats the motor on the upper hull plating for this modification, and an insde wall & ceiling corridor set which leads up into the hull. Lastly, a step-up ramp between the hinge and inner edge of the hull plating to complete this custom modification. Once I design everything, I will create an ultimate combo pack for the entire project to save evryone on the total cost.

This part is only available in white strong & flexible polished, due to its intened function.

Stay tuned for more!
