Welcome to Shapeways’ Designer For Hire program! This program connects people with great ideas to skilled 3D designers.
How does a designer qualify? Shapeways community members who have an open shop, have first and last name visible in their profile and who have successfully shipped three different models or model versions will be able to post their services for hire. These checks have been put in place to ensure familiarity with the Shapeways system. Having a shop makes it easy for the final design to be printed and shipped to the client without the designer having to manage those details.

I just very recently (within two weeks) signed up for the Designer For Hire programme. Does this mean all of us in the programme now have to re sign-up?
Hey Glenn you can take all your bio and image info that you included in that application and register you profile for hire yourself, so yes you do need to complete the form but as long as you meet the three credentials you will have your for-hire profile up immediately after hitting save.
