Product Description
Here’s some stuff for your next space outpost junkyard diorama in 1:144 scale: some mystery wedges!

When the Falcon is seen parked in a junkyard, a bunch of these mysterious wedges are also seen, arranged in a rough circle around the ship.

It’s not obvious what they’re supposed to be. They’re triangular objects with curved fronts, painted to resemble stained concrete, and with black metal details at the top. Maybe they’re lasers or lights or burglar alarm sensors or force field generators? But you can also see, in one split-second shot in the movie, that they have metal rings attached to the top front. So my vote is that they’re supposed to be optional tie-down points for the large camo canvas seen draped over the ship.

How many are needed? That’s unclear from the film footage, but I’m guessing 12 should provide adequate coverage. A number were physical props in the Abu Dhabi desert, but a bunch were also painted in later as CGI elements. The parts are sprued together as a single printable object, to reduce the cost to you. They should also be a bit easier to paint if you leave them attached to their protruding cylindrical sprues, and you can use the sprues to glue them down if you want.

Please read the following if you're interested in these items.

These accurizing parts are not mass-market commercial products. I made them for my own use, and have put them here in case they're of interest to someone else. Possibly you, since you’re reading this.

These are components for the serious model maker who wants to build a more accurate miniature. They require finishing. If you don't want to trim, file, sand, and glue, then these aren't the parts you're looking for! The parts are tiny, and easily broken. They push the limits of today's 3D printers. The detail in the digital previews is all there, but it won't always be visible at the miniscule sizes that this scale requires!
