Product Description
A moderately complete set of the crates and medium to small sized whatnots found on the Echo Base hangar set. Larger objects are not included, as it's kind of expensive to print just this set given Shapeways' pricing, I'm afraid. Available separately: the open crates that contain greeblies and lights and the ground lights. There is also a reduced set to make it a bit more affordable, and a minimal set with just a few crate types.
Note: the cube-shaped thingies on posts and the large ribbed crates are mostly seen outdoors in the battle scene, but can also be seen tucked away in the hangar set. The two tall post thingies have small holes in them for installing the U-shaped pipes that were present on the original props. I didn't mould those in plastic because a) they'd be super brittle, and b) they'd be oversized. 0.25mm wire is best.

These are components for the serious model maker who wants to build a more accurate miniature. They require finishing, especially removing the wax deposits used to support the resin during printing. If you don't want to trim, file, sand, and glue, then these aren't the parts you're looking for!
The parts are tiny, and easily broken. They push the limits of today's 3D printers. The detail in the digital previews is all there, but it won't always be visible at the miniscule sizes that this scale requires!
