The russian SU-122 54 heavy Tank destroyer was developed in the late 1940´s. The chassis based on the T-54 Tank with light modifications. The superstructure was build into  the hull. The armament consists an M-62-T 122mm gun and two heavy machineguns. The SU-122 54 entering service between 1955 and 1957 in small numbers. Some of this vehicles saw action during the suppression of the Czech Revolt (Prague Spring) in 1968.  Later the gun was removed and the vehicles were used as ARV named TOP.
Der russische schwere SU-122 54 Jagdpanzer wurde Ende der 1940er Jahre entwickelt. Das Fahrgestell basierte auf einem leich modifiziertem T-54 Kampfpanzer mit einem festen Aufbau. Die Bewaffnung bestand aus einer M-62-T 122mm Panzerkanone und zwei Maschinengewehren. Der SU-122 54 wurde zwischen 1955 und 1957 in kleineren Stückzahlen eingeführt. Unteranderem wurde der schwere Panzerjäger bei der Unterdrückung des tschechslowakischen Aufstandes 1968 (Prager Frühling) eingesetzt. Später wurde die Bewaffnung entfernt und das Fahrzeug als Bergepanzer unter der Bezeichnung TOP genutzt.
