Hydra x6 Reversible Baseplate Safety Razor Head

The Hydra Reversible Baseplate Safety Razor Head is designed for the traditional wet shaver who needs a little variety in their shave. A more aggressive baseplate configuration can be used to remove more growth whereas a less aggressive baseplate can be used for a quick touchup.

The Hydra is produced with 3D printing technologies. In addition to the 3D printed parts, you will need an M5 20mm flat head machine screw and a standard safety razor handle that fits the machine screw. imperial parts will not work as the angle of the head is different. The drive of the machine screw does not matter. You might consider fixing the machine screw to the top cap with a marine-grade epoxy for a more hassle-free assembly experience during the shave.

Unfortunately, Shapeways is only a 3D printing service and cannot provide you with the hardware in the package.

When your razor head arrives, the parts will be held together with an interlocking pin. You will need to remove this pin to separate the parts. The pin allows for the parts to be printed at a lower cost.

The Hydra x6 comes with all available baseplates with aggression levels of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
