Product Description
In the past it was possible to print the docking bay details using a semi-translucent "fine detail" plastic. However, that option is now gone. So you either print using opaque "tan" plastic or semi-transparent "clear" plastic. The problem is that the clear plastic is really expensive, which isn't a great option if you only want lightable ground light lenses.
Accordingly I've made this set available in clear only. Note that it's priced as low as possible, with zero markup.
This set includes 10x lenses for the docking bay ground lights, and 4x lamps for the mystery power box. The ground lights should be polished, perhaps sprayed with a little clear coat, so that they look like transparent lights with interior domed fixtures. The red lights should be painted with transparent red paint, obviously. The tapered ring at the base was white. To avoid light leaks you should probably paint the tapered bit in silver or something, as a light blocker, before painting the white over top. To avoid cracking the plastic I would suggest using an extremely fine toothed razor saw to cut the sprues rather than nippers, and then file off the remaining nubs.
