tengel V2 fits better, there is no step on the connection between cone and tube.

tengel @bluevoice: V2 has an large ring as V1 for the connection to the cockpit tube.

tengel What are the differnece to the lit parts. Comparsion pics? What does it mean "totally screen accurate"? Did you messure direct on the movie prop? Did you have all the used kit parts for the design?

Thanks Disney for deleting the figures for the deAgostini Millennium Falcon and adding these expensive figures instead. BANDAI is the better option for such kind of figures and you get more for less money!

tengel @stevewaldner The parts are hold together with a sprue ( the red part in the picture). You can easy cut the sprue to get two pieces. Then you can remove the rest of the sprue from the parts. Use a side cutter for this work.

tengel @fba6ee2 It covers the LED and stops the light shinning through the cockpit-tube.

tengel The cockpit with cover fits well in the cockpit tube.

tengel @fba6ee2 Hi, here a pic with the installed cover. I have used one of the spare screws for the recess areas to fix the LED and the cover on the backwall.
