This is a tool that helps you to model saurian / dragon skin.
This sets includes BOTH Tools: 30 mm AND 50 mm.

I am a tabletop player. I collect a self created chapter of gen modified warriors of an English manufacturer. It is based on a dragon theme and the warriors shall reflect this, therefore I had the idea to decorate the warriors with dragon skin clothes.

I never worked with green stuff before, so I needed a little help to create some kind of dragon skin, something like a dragon skin tool … so here it is!

The small tool is 30 mm (approximately 1,2 inch ), the big 50 mm (approximately 2 inch). The overall high is 1.5 mm, the details are 0.5 mm depth.

Important: Use some kind of mold release agent, so the green stuff will not stick on the tool.

The picture “first attempts” show my first modeling attempts with this tool. They are some parts for my chapter and leather cuisse for a Freebooter’s Fate Amazon.

Tested in FUD and FD. In FD is the Quality not so good. The details are not so good, and the tool is contorted.
I recommend to print in FUD.

Update: 20.02.2013: Minor Fixes: (Added missing indication of size on backside of big tool, added shop url on backside)

I created it as part of a Christmas gift for my girl friend:
I build her a Lego diorama to remember our firsts dives together. We did these dives in a indoor dive center in Rheinbach (Germany). One of the feature in the diving pool was a Shark Monument.

To remember our first dives together I build the diorama from Lego. But Lego do not have a big knives to create a Shark Monument. So I had to create it by my self. My girl friend was stoked and allowed me to share it with the public. So Here it is!
