I found an old-fashioned pharmacy bottle in the back yard of a New England farmhouse, and years later I've scanned the bottle and created a variety of works based on it. This piece is printed all at once with the drawers in place. 10.5 inches wide, 5 inches high. A larger version is available Here. At this scale it is best suited to store rings and small earrings.

The Fire Gauntlet is an articulated hard-shelled glove, 3D printed all at once, fully assembled. The model is based on a 3D scan of my hand, with a 1.5mm clearance between the scanned surface and the printed model to allow for a Nomex cloth lining. Ideally the final design would be in stainless steel, but there are many challenges to making that happen. This prototype is a good start.
This version is only for display and is bonded to the production frame. It was printed using White Strong & Flexible material, painted and mounted on a wooden base.

In the video below, a VRML viewer was used to explore the design and run around in it like a video game. It is fairly sturdy but be aware that your Head Village may be missing a few trees by the time it gets to you.

This is the framework for a work-in-progress. A subdivided dodecahedron provides the basis for this complicated truss. There are circular holes on the vertices, edge-middles and face-centers of the original object. The holes are designed to accept snap-in inserts in three sizes, making it easy to add the additional parts and a pedestal to the sculpture.
