Product Description
Replacement cassette deck door hinge pins for sets with worn or broken hinge pins. Installation details will be added soon. If you have made a purchase, contact us for installation details. This is a full set and includes enough pins to do both doors. You will get a set of push-in clip type replacement hinge assemblies. You will also get a glue-on center assembly too.
Some grinding, shaving, filing or sanding may be necessary to do the installation. See the tools I used in the image gallery.
See the image gallery for an actual example of a boombox with the hinge pins repaired. I used PA12 in black. You can choose grey too if you like, it's $4 cheaper. There is an option for smooth finish. In my opinion, it's not necessary as you'll never see the pins once installed and doors are closed.
