Wepwawet-Re amulet

Although only very rarely pictured and never with a uraeus-protected solar crown like this, it is nonetheless appropriate for Wepwawet-Re to be depicted in this manner. It could also stand for other solar jackals. Re himself is once described in the Coffin Texts as "The Unique/Sole Jackal in the Sky," and there is an obscure jackal god called Wepiu who appears to have Heliopolitan origins and a fiery nature.
