Since initial release he front buffer beams have been extended by an extra 3mm / 9" to make life easier for the smokebox cleaner.
Here we have the body for a freelance 0-4-0 shunter. It is designed essentially as an attempt to depict the character 'Percy' in a researched and realistic way. Taking inspiration from Avonside and other industrials this would make a great Percy if painted green or a great freelance industrial of your livery choice. Blue or red maybe?
The body will likely accept several RTR chassis (Bachmann Percy, L&YR/Caledonian Pug for example) although it HAS been designed to fit the Hornby W4 Peckett 00 chassis, and a 3D printed kit chassis that'll require scratch building all the motion.
If you are using the Peckett W4 chassis don't forget to nab some cylinder shrounds too!

There is the V2, V2-B, V2-C & V2-D, the differences is simply a swap of the tank/boiler fittings and cab design, other than that they are identical.
The bodyshell comes with sprued buffers (2 types), a sprued smokebox door, a loose cab roof and a loose set of backhead cab controls. It must be understood that if these controls are fitted a bit of the Peckett W4 chassis will still be visible through the front cab sheeting but it's better than not being there. You'll just need hand rail pillars, 0.45mm rod for the handrails and couplings and brake pipe etc to complete.
The body base has holes in that line up with the Peckett W4 chassis to screw into or use small nuts and bolts, 10 or 12BA for example...or good old blue tack for a simply less engineered fix.

On the insides of the cab there are slots to accept some sheet material to to provide a removable door.
The Photographs of a prototype is an unfinished and rough draft print just done for test fitting the chassis. It is a different variant but still the same for fitting.
