Product Description
Two versions of the IS-6 heavy tank were produced: object 252, which was a further development of the earlier IS-4, but with larger road wheels and no return rollers, and object 253, which retained the older running gear but made use of an electrical transmission, which Soviet tank designers decided to play around with following German experiments. Since object 253 was a mechanical failure, I decided to make a model of object 252. To the best of my knowledge, this is also the version that appears in the game "World of Tanks." However, much like the IS-4, the IS-6 offered no advantage over the IS-2 other than faster reload time, and the project was cancelled.
