Product Description
The Aeronautical Development is a hybrid airship that makes use of both folding wings and lifting gas to stay aloft (a plane-balloon) with some serious technological enhancements.  This ship is the brain-child of a Bulmutian university professor, who, thanks to very generous donation, was able to include glossarion levitators in the design and conduct atmospheric experiments that he previously only dreamed of.  Though the levitators weighed down the ship quite a bit, they also boosted its top speed to 118 knots, making it the fastest Rossberan airship aside from the black triremes.  The Aeronautical Development did have an unfortunate encounter with the black trireme Zaphnora during a survey mission to the north pole, but was repaired and eventually returned to far less risky work.

The 1/700 scale model comes with separate observation domes that are meant as plugs for the holes in the hollow balloon.  If they are not to your liking, I suggest checking out the transparent domes that I have installed on the model in my photos.
The 1/1250 scale model is solid.
