Product Description
(No Backhead Controls)
This is body of thee Cambrian Railways Small Goods Class, or SGC for short. For 7mm scale, re-scaled and tweaked from the 4mm version. The difference here is the Steps have been changed in profile to match the Cambrian better and the backhead has been pulled off. This was done as a special request upload.
This is the BASIC version where you choose alternate detail parts 'pick 'n' mix' style in the cheaper Versatile Plastic (Formerly WSF) and also the more expensive Fine Detail Plastic (Formerly FUD).
The locomotive went through several changes, most notible being different chimneys, safety valves and cab designs. These have been made separately so you can choose exactly what you need to suit your chosen railway company and period. The locomotive also went through at least four different boilers yet this model represents the original type.
To complete a version or a Cambrian variant the aforementioned components are available separately.
The D1 and E1 ran with the 4 wheel tender also available.

One of the middle 4 lamp irons will need cutting off depending on prototype variant. Buffers and Smokebox Door need to be cut off as they are sprue joined. Other items are loose.
Cab sides have not had the rivets modelled due to so many variations, however Archer transfer decals easily sort that out for you as they have physical relief. DCC Concepts and others sell them.
