Product Description
A god of the Western desert areas and the oases found there, Ash has both Horian and Sethian manifestations. The request I received was for him as the latter, and so he sports the face of a sha-animal. Depictions and inscriptions both give Ash possession of the white crown, which he likewise wears here. One very early representation of the god shows him as a hawk standing over the symbol for a lake. Initially I had him sitting on a lake in my design, but then my research revealed that his name is sometimes spelled 'sha' - Not only is the Set-animal called a sha, but there is a symbol for marshland called sha as well. So I swapped out the plain lake for the sha-marsh in order to thoroughly distinguish him from Seth.
