Humvee Modern Grills

This set consists of 16 modern style grills for use on a Roco or Herpa Humvee. They are made to be direct replacements of the front bumper that is included with those vehicles.  This is the same grill that comes with any of my humvee conversion kits.

Remove the parts from the sprue by cutting them off with sprue cutters or by snapping them off.  You may need to use a needle file to remove any excess sprue material to ensure the grill fits tight against the vehicle.  Clean and paint the parts in accordance with Shapeways guidance for detailed plastic and simply use the new front grill in place of the kit’s front bumper (this also holds the frame the the body).  Be careful with test fitting as the fit is tight and the pins may snap off when removing the grill.  If this happens, the pin can be left to hold the frame in place and the grill simply glued in place with super glue.
