HO Scale “A.C. Motor Stop” Signs

Here we have "A.C. Motor Stop" signs in HO scale. These signs were used on the Pennsylvania Railroad's electrified lines to indicate the end of the cantenary. These signs are a scale 2ft tall by 3ft wide to match the prototype. The letters are created through a series of holes. The layout for the 3D model was done by tracing over a photo of one of the actual signs. As you can see in the images, light shines through these holes just like the prototype. 

With your purchase you'll be getting 8 signs printed in detailed plastic. Due to the size of the holes this material is really the only one that will print accurately. They will come as white plastic and mist be cleaned and painted.

The 3D model is created so that the signs snap easily off the sprues. They may even be detached when your order arrives. If not, simply snap them from the sprue. To finish the sign you may file lightly on the rear to remove any remaining sprue rements. Then clean them to remove the remaining waxy material (I use hot water and a brush). Let dry thoroughly (a day at the least) and paint.
