Use this model as a tractor trailer or flatcar load, or as scenery around a shop or museum!
This is a 1/87 (HO) scale model of the boiler from a Norfolk and Western M Class 4-8-0 locomotive. This was 3D modeled using original N&W engineering drawings with all the rivet and staybolt details included. This boiler represents the original M Class locomotive with interior steam pipes. Photos are of the 475 version (see my shop) which is identical except for some changes in the staybolt pattern and around the firebox door opening.
Because of the small details and wall thicknesses this model is designed only to print in the detail plastics.
With this purchase you receive an unpainted model of the boiler only. Wooden supports and vehicle shown in the photos are not part of the model.
