Cambrian 'Albion' SPC Tender - FUD/FXD

This is the 4 wheeled tender for the Cambrian 'Albion' Small Passenger Loco (SPC) in FUD/FXD  4mm / 1:76.A cheaper less crisp version is available in WSF also.

The photographs show a FUD/Smooth Fine Detail Plastic example.  You can get a print in a higher smoother resolution also.

The translucent photographs is how the model looks out the packet, the opaque photograph was taken after the model has been dunked in White Spirit.  As of yet it has had no smoothing done to it, yet once completed a new picture of the finished item will be uploaded.

The buffers are sprued on the top of the tender, there are two filler caps to choose from and there is an optional coal barrier sprued here also.  If you require it simply cut the sprues off and glue it into the groove.

This whole top section as the coal base and bulkhead slots snugly in the body.  There is a 'T' shaped strengthener in the body.  this may be removed if you require the extra space for weight, motor, speakers etc.

The bufferbeam headstock has not had buffer locating holes designed in due to there being several differing positions according to the differing photographs and drawings so please fix them relative to your locomotive and rolling stock.

The tender connecter has been left for you to devise due to there being differing preferances, same goes for  couplings and brake pipes.  Add your own towards the end of the build.

The leaf springs may be in the way of painting and lining depending how you are going to tackle things.  If they are then consider the 3 fixing points on their base as sprues.  Cut these off close to the base and re-apply them later.

The brake handle and railings have been left off due to being so thin they risk a print cancellation so these can be scratch built, however in the near future a small set may be released seperately in a suitable material.
