Plastic Screw tower reinforcement sleeves boombox

Boombox cabinets are often fastened together to what are called screw tower or bosses.  Unfortunately over the years, they get brittle and often split or crack.  This is a pack of 20pc nylon sleeves which can be cemented over the ends of the screw towers.  This is a good preventative measure to prevent certain screw towers to avoid such damage, for example those that support transformers.  They can also be used to reinforce or repair screw tower tips by providing a form which can be filled with drillable and tap-able epoxy.  These have an approximate outside dimension of 10.1mm and internal hole dimension of approximately 8.1mm.  We recommend affixing these with epoxy but you can use whatever suitable adhesive you feel will do the job.  These are NOT boombox or model specific but will be dependent on the size and shape of your screw towers.
