BobTheDoctor27 Big fan of this mask. True to the original intended purpose of the mask, I shall use it as a desert-adapted Onua. The eyeholes are perfectly placed.
BobTheDoctor27 This mask sits quite far away from the Metru head, but it does look exceptional face-on. Not the best articulation on account of the inward-sloping chin, however.
BobTheDoctor27 Definitely worth picking up in finer detail for those Turahk textures. This mask looks appropriately medieval and intricate enough to pass for the mask described as Helryx's. Great job!
BobTheDoctor27 Cheeks of the mask are a bit thinner than in the movie, but putting a Mata head in there presses them back out. Other than that, this mask is practically perfect.
BobTheDoctor27 Feels more like a powerless Matoran version, but it's a great mask. Reminds me of the LoMN Matoran versions of the Metru Kanohi and is very expressive.
BobTheDoctor27 I'm really happy with this one. Even in the cheaper quality it prints exceptionally well. Definitely worth springing for some of the more expensive plastics.
BobTheDoctor27 This mask is a lot larger than I thought it would be, but it authentically captures the shape of the Faxon. Makes for a great Noble version and I'm very happy with it.
BobTheDoctor27 Probably my favorite of the spines you have in your collection. I'm yet to put it on a Rahkshi but I just think the shaping is really great.
BobTheDoctor27 I picked up two sets of these recently, thinking they would help me to make more recolors using the shapeways shades of yellow and purple without having the photoshop, but I'm not sold on the quality of the cut. Thought it would be smoother around the head and spine. A lot of the minute details don't translate well in the cheaper colored plastics and the spine isn't compatible with existing LEGO Rahkshi spines. The axle in the heads is also pretty loose to the point where the head just keeps falling off the trans connector piece.
BobTheDoctor27 Bit of a mixed bag. While I do admire the shaping and artistic license, the mask is very large in comparison to other Kanohi. Furthermore, the axle rod is very long and loose-fitting. This can be fixed with blue tack and I'd rather have it too thin than too thick, so it's something that might want to be addressed in later tweaks by the designer. All in all, it's still a very decent mask and I will be putting it to good use (Likely not as a Mask of Weight Increase though). I shall add more photos to my brickshelf gallery for those interested in seeing what it looks like.
BobTheDoctor27 Very satisfied with this mask. The print is a little rough when examined closely but, for my purposes, it works perfectly. I wholeheartedly recommend.
