1 x Short S23 "C" Class Empire Flying Boat "In Flight."
1 x Short S23 "C" Class Empire with Beaching Gear fitted.
1 x Short S23 "C" Class Empire Waterline Model with doors and hatches open ready to receive passengers and freight.
Water-slide DECALS will be available forthis model mid 2021.
Notice that you have a choice of scale and of material - please check your choices in the top right corner of this page.
Please note that the individual items are supplied "caged" together to avoid loss and damage - after the cage is removed there are NO sprues to cut away from the models.
The Short S23 "C" Class Empire Flying Boat:
The Short Empire was a medium range four engined monoplane passenger and mail carrying flying boat, of the 1930s and 1940s.It flew between Britain and the British colonies in Africa, Asia and Australia as well as providing service between Bermuda and New York City.
The Empire was manufactured by Short Brothers and was developed in parallel with the Short Sunderland patrol bomber of World War II.
