Product Description
NER D100 Motor Luggage Van
The NER introduced 2 motor parcels vans to handle parcels and fish traffic on their Tynemouth branches in 1904. They were fitted with adjustable buffers so could haul other stock, an were used to top and tail sets of coaches known as the Controlled Set.
These two were withdrawn in 1938 and used as de-icing vans up till 1950s. One unit 900730 has been preserved.
