Product Description
MTA low-sided ballast wagons were built from 1999 onwards on re-used 1960s TTA tank wagon chasses. Some examples can be seen on Paul Bartlett's website.

NOTES
- This model consists of a chassis, side and end walls and can be ordered singly (Choose SMALL) or as a pair (Choose LARGE).
- Check alignment against prototype photographs before dry-fitting parts together.
- Attach the end walls to the chassis first, aligning the stanchions on each, using cyanoacrylate adhesive (Superglue, etc). When cured, add the sidewalls.
- Filing a shallow groove from the bottom of each "W iron" up to the axle recess will make fitting wheelsets easier.
- Depending on the wheelsets chosen, the brake block faces might need some easing with a round file.
