Product Description
This is 7 mm European 4-In-1 Chainmail. The inner diameter is actually smaller, about 6.8 mm.

This is a 1.8 inch / 46 mm long segment of chainmaille. You can use patches to assemble larger garments. This is the method most commonly used to construct chainmail worldwide.
(Longer strips coming soon!)

This patch can be printed multiple times and then joined together with riveted  rings, soldered rings, welded rings, or butted rings in order to make an entire large piece of clothing. This is done in the same way that all 4-in-1 European chainmail is woven together.

Making chainmail is a fun hobby and there are many informational resources available to the beginner.

This is a precise, functional, REAL chainmail piece. This item was meticulously designed and tweeked so that the rings will not touch each other during the printing process.

The rings do not touch, overlap, or meld together in the design file - meaning that when it is 3D printed these rings will each be free, loose, spaced out, yet interlocking and FULLY functional. They ought not to stick together during the printing process, and this will be a real, flexible, wearable patch of chainmail.

Available in plastic. Currently working to make this in metal as well!

Butted rings should NEVER be used for combat or defense. Plastic or sandstone Rings should not be used for combat or defense either.

For combat and defense ALWAYS use riveted, welded, or soldered METAL rings. Riveted rings are the most common and battle-tested. Soldered and Welded rings (use filler material) are theororetically stronger if they are fored with the same thickness and size of any normal 6-9 mm chainmail which is commonly available. Historical chainmail would be constructed anywhere from 6 to 10 mm diameter, and anywhere from 16 to 14 guage wire thickness.
