Real Steel SCUBA Trident 1

This trident spearhead is exactly the same as the 2nd and 3rd model, except that this model is plain with no crossguard or other features on the neck.

The same as an historical Viking spear, according to weapon construction laws in norway at the time, the spearhead is fitted perfectly to match the inner cone in the socket (a bit thicker on the pole than the inner cone for tightness), it is Jammed in tight, then drilled through and pinned with a single rivet, nail, or pin which goes all the way through the shaft.

The hole for this pin is 3/16 inch diameter, a commonly available size.
Do not use a screw. Screws will cut into the shaft and the head, it weakens the item. Use a 3/6 nail and then cut to length and hammer it over the end like a rivet. 3/16 inch rivets can be used. Beware corrosion and galvanism.
