Product Description
The ultimate expression of the FireHawk heavy cruiser and the Hawk series, this design had a seriously expanded hull, two extra engines, space for four mission modules, and firepower truly worthy of a dreadnought class. The design reflects the fierce competition between the Romulan Great Houses, as it was offered to the government in competition with the Condor, which ultimately derived from the Vulture-class of the earlier Eagle Series. Two hulls were laid down to replace Condors lost in battle, but these were not finished during the General War. Because the ship is modular, it could be fitted to carry 16 fighters or other weapons and mission systems. The MegaHawk+ was produced during the late war period in the shipyards of a different Great House than the original, accounting for the visual difference.
The ship is available in a variety of materials. (Smooth Fine Detail Plastic makes an excellent cloaked ship!) Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
