3125 Scale Hydran Monarch Battleship (BB) CVN

The Hydrans are an unusual species that live on the far side of the Klingon Empire, along the edge of the galaxy. They are enemies of the Klingons and Lyrans, and were conquered by those empires at one point, only to drive the invaders out decades later. Hydrans breathe methane and live on cold type-S gas giants on silicate continents floating on liquid methane oceans.

The Hydrans designed but never built this battleship to match the Klingon B10s (which were not completed before the war was over). The design of the ship was based on a wider version of the Paladin-class dreadnought, with extra power, weapons, and other systems in the increased hull volume. (The Hydrans decided that the Paladin, itself a wider version of the Ranger cruiser, was as long as their starbase docks could hold.) It would have carried 18 fighters, a very powerful squadron indeed. There are persistent reports that the Klingons found an unfinished ship of this type in the Hydran shipyard after capturing the Hydran capital.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
