3788 Scale Frax War Cruiser (CW) MGL

The Frax are a simulator empire used to train officers of the Klingon Deep Space Fleet to handle unexpected enemies. Based on old wet-navy concepts, the weapons are disposed in turrets with Forward eXpanded and Rear eXpanded firing arcs (hence the name “Frax”). War cruisers were built during wartime with no expectation they would survive a normal service life. They had 90% of the firepower of a heavy cruiser at only 63% of the cost, the money saved coming from elements that were not built for the normal 30-year service life of a warship built in peacetime.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
