Product Description

Highly detailed 3-Axle Lowboy extended Gooseneck Trailer in HO scale, scaled down from drawings of a real trailer. Based off of XL Specialized trailers. Main deck length is 26', with overall length from front to rear at 53'6" on short gooseneck 3-Axle Models. Represents a 50/60 Ton lowboy. Need a larger capacity trailer? This lowboy is modular and can be completly customized by adding a flip axle, jeep dolly, booster dolly and/or any combination of the three. Got a heavy load and need a 120-Ton trailer? No problem, add a 3-Axle Jeep, 3 or 4-axle lowboy, and 3-axle booster dolly and pair it up to your favorite 4-axle heavy haul tractor. it will surely make an impressive center-piece going down the road or at a construction site on your layout!

This model features the ramps in the up position and the gooseneck in the haul position ready to be attached to a jeep dolly and tractor of your choise.

Please Note! This model features a long extended gooseneck and will not work with most tractors without the use of a jeep dolly. The Jeep Dolly's require an extended gooseneck on the lowboy side but feature a short gooseneck on the dolly for connecting to the tractor. Please see my other items for short and extended gooseneck models.

You will need the following to complete the model:

rubber tires
axles
mudflaps
wood decking

For the most detail on the decking I would suggest using HO scale lumber.
