# OKAYA OPTIK. Highkor 1:1.8 f=40mm to Leica-L(L39) adapter
This adapter convert OKAYA OPTIK. Highkor 1:1.8 f=40mm lens on LORD-SL camera to Leica-L(L39). It's enables to use this lens on SONY NEX, alpha 7 camera with Leica-L mount adapter with focusing helicoid.
Since this adapter and lens has no focusing helicoid, you need to use a mount adapter with focusing helicoid.
* You have to remove lens from camera and modify always shutter opened.
* You need rear lens holding ring to adapt the lens to this adapter.
* Lens flange back is pretty strict. 3D print machine that Shapeways has been updating often return different results. I usually make lens adapter a bit over-inf. If you couldn't get infinity focus, you maybe get infinity focus by cutting or scraping it.
