1/32 Fokker D.VII Radiator Shell (late style)

This is a replacement radiator design to be used with the WNW Fokker D.VII kit -- especially if you are displaying the kit with the lower cowl removed. The kit lower cowl part may require a bit of modification in order for this to fit with it in place. The front and rear core areas are designed to be covered with scale see-thru honeyconb mesh, such as is available from RB productions.  

 

Available in both Frosted Extreme Detail and the less expensive Frosted Ultra Detail. Either way the shell will require a bit of surface finishing. I have designed it to be easy to do (this is why I left off the filler neck details which can be easily scratched by the modeler.)

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Although RB productions has custom Fokker D.VII PE mesh product it is not "see thru" and WILL NOT FIT CORRECTLY! Instead use their generic, see-thru honeycomb mesh and cut to fit .
