1:32 Mercedes D.III/D.IIIa Cylinder hold down clamps
These are the clamp "feet" that hold the cylinders to the block on Daimler-Mercedes WWI aircraft engines. The clamps are found between the cylinders and are held to the block via a stud that runs through the center (not included). You get 20 clamps; enough to detail two motors.
The clamps are printed on a base plate, carefully remove two at a time with a fine saw where the clamp meets the base. There is a .2mm groove that runs all the way around the base of each part to assist you in properly cutting the part. Please be ready to catch the part when the saw goes through!
Please note: This model is printed in Frosted Ultra Detail acrylic plastic, which will arrive with a barely noticeable waxy coating that should be removed before you attempt to paint it.To prepare parts for painting, soak them for up to 15 minutes in a small jar filled with acetone (nail polish remover.) Once the waxy support material is completely removed, the parts will appear mostly white.
