Product Description
As the General War dragged on, all empires sought ways to get the most ship for their credits, building larger and larger versions of the standard pre-war cruisers. The ultimate expression of this process was the heavy battlecruiser, the most that a cruiser hull and cruiser engines could be expected to do. The ship had the same engines and heavy weapons as the D7, but had more overall power, heavy shields, more and better phasers, and more drone racks. The C7 was easily the equal of the Federation Kirov or the Kzinti BCH. Heavy battlecruisers were so overloaded that they were difficult to build and each empire was unable to build more than one a year. The Klingon C7K refitted battlecruiser is a refit of the C7B with improved phasers. The Aztek panels on the outer surfaces represent efforts to reduce the electronic signature of the C7K and match it to the C7B so the enemy could not tell the difference. Variants were built later that carried fighters and gunboats. Better firing arcs made up for the ship being less maneuverable than the D7 series of cruisers. Ships included the War, Fire, Plague, Fear, and Death.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
