2500 Scale Romulan War Eagle MGL

The ships of this class are 100-year-old Warbird cruisers converted to use warp power and modern equipment. The War Eagles are critically undersized and, despite the improvements made, not capable of standing up in combat to another cruiser. Usually, one good blast from any heavy cruiser is enough to cripple a War Eagle. They are kept in service because of the incredible power of the type-R plasma torpedo. Their saving grace is the cloaking device, which allows the ship to move to close range, fire, and then evade reprisal.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. (Smooth Fine Detail Plastic makes an excellent cloaked ship!) Ships are unpainted and, while designed for gaming in one-to-one tabletop battles, make fine display pieces.
