Product Description
Corrugated iron sheets were widely used for roofing of all types of early buildings and are still in use today.
The profile of the corrugations has been taken from the 1963 Lysaght Referee 22nd Edition book.
This is a sprue of 30 - 10 foot sheets of Corrugated Iron with a width of 8 corrugations.
The model sheets are 2 feet 2 1/2 inches wide for a prototype 1 1/2 corrugation overlap.
The model sheets are designed to be butted up against each other the overlap being shown by the join between the sheets.
The actual prototype sheets have 9 corrugations which leave 8 showing after overlap.
Corrugated Iron came in 1-foot increments from 5-foot to 12-foot lengths. I have chosen a 10-foot length but other lengths can be produced if there is a need.
