The "S.S.C. Leif Ericson" galactic cruiser, was released as a model kit by AMT in the late 60s and later re-released as U.F.O. - Mystery Ship. Although not a Star Trek ship, it was designed by Matt Jefferies, who also designed the original Enterprise, it would fit nicely into a lineage also including the DY-100, the DY-500, the S.S. Valiant from the "Spaceflight Chronology" and the Conestoga from "Enterprise". Its coning tower and the round shape of the front hull is very reminiscent of the DY-100 and the shape of the aft hull was the inspiration for the Valiant and the Conestoga. It also has two engines, that could be warp nacelles on each side.
