Product Description
Argus As-014 (also known as the As 109-014); first flying in 1941, this pulsejet engine would power the V-1 buzzbomb, a handful of experimental manned aircraft, and, in a reverse engineered form, several foreign variants and copies of the V-1.
This historic engine—a mainstay of several notable planned, proposed, but ultimately unbuilt Luftwaffe aircraft and missile designs during the war, as well as a few allied ones immediately after—is now available for purchase on it’s own. A convenient and accurate option for scale modelers wishing to build a custom pulsejet-powered project without having to construct their own engine from scratch, or wastefully scavenge from a V-1 model.
It can also serve as a handy stand-in for the Ford PJ31 or the Chelomey D-3—both reverse engineered direct copies of the As-014.
Available in 1/48 and 1/72 scale; other scales available on request. Also available in a two-pack.
