Product Description
Miniature dwarf hamster wheel of death for fantasy football boardgames (or anything else you fancy).
Dimensions once assembled : 33mm width, 50mm outer diameter, 39.5mm inner diameter.
2 parts attached with a wire (just cut the wire and they fall). Hence, assembly & glueing required (superglue works fine), notches in each part allow perfect alignment.
Any miniature can be put/glued inside, as long as it fits the inner diameter. A fantasy dwarf miniature is generally the default choice. Though, a giant-cave-hamster or a mechanical-steam-powered-guinea-pig might be even better, provided you can find the corresponding miniature. PS : miniature and base not included, of course.
The model comes unpainted. It has a single colour.
If you want to paint it, the process is almost identical to any regular plastic miniature. Some recommendations:
- With Fine Detail Plastic only : Wash the model, to remove any remaining wax. Approx. 3 minutes in acetone, or approx. 30 minutes in denaturated alcohol, or approx. 30 minutes in Simple Green. Rub gently with a toothbrush, rinse with water, let dry. Spray prime, paint, spray varnish.
- With White Plastic : Wash the model, to remove any remaining nylon powder. Use soapy water, rub with toothbrush, rinse, let dry. Spray prime (you can apply more primer coats than usual, though), paint, spray varnish.
Note: Recommended material is Fine Detail Plastic (Smooth or Smoothest). White Plastic is a low cost and low detail option (while okay, details are less sharp and surface is less smooth).
