1:32 Fowler Portable Rwy Tie (Double) Operational

This model represents the standard bolt-on ties used with J. Fowler & Co. Portable Railway track in 20" gauge (16.5mm gauge). This model is intended to make operational lengths of portable track for use on a layout. For scenic track see our related Scenic version which has accurate representations of the underside profile and rail fasteners. Use Micro Engineering micro track spikes to secure the rail through the tie holes to a firm roadbed such as Homosote. Designed for use with Micro Engineering Code 70 Rail. This model provides 45 double width ties. Fowler track typically came in 5 meter lengths with four single ties and one double tie per length. Shorter lengths of rail reduced the number of single ties.
